At famtri, we respect and prioritize user privacy. We provide users with complete control over their data, including the ability to permanently delete their account and all associated data at any time. Please review the details provided below to understand our data deletion process:
Data We Collect
- Upon registration on the famtri app, we collect user information such as email addresses, names, and authentication details to validate user identity and personalize the user experience.
- The application allows users to create family trees, upload avatar images, and manage subscriptions, all of which are linked to their individual accounts.
How to Delete Your Account
Users can delete their account immediately using either of the following methods:
Method 1: Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)
- Log in to your famtri account
- Navigate to your Profile page
- Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
- Your account and all data will be permanently deleted immediately
Method 2: Email Support
If you're unable to access your account, you can request deletion via email:
- Send an email to support@famtri.com from your registered email address
- Include "Request for Account Deletion" in the subject line
- Provide your full name and any account details for verification
- Our support team will process your request within 3-5 business days
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- User Profile: Your name, email address, and authentication details
- Family Tree Data: All family members, relationships, and tree structure
- Avatar Images: All uploaded photos and images associated with family members
- Subscription Data: Your Stripe subscription will be canceled and customer data deleted
- All Other Data: Any other information linked to your account
Important: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have backed up any information you wish to keep before proceeding with deletion.
Data Deletion Timeline
- Self-Service Deletion: When you delete your account through the Profile page, all data is permanently deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.
- Email Support Requests: Manual deletion requests via email are processed within 3-5 business days after verification.
- famtri retains user data only as long as the account is active or as required by law. We do not retain deleted user data beyond what is legally mandated.

- famtri employs stringent measures to safeguard the security and integrity of user data. This includes the use of encryption and access control mechanisms.
- We adhere to industry-standard procedures to shield user information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Alterations to Data Deletion Policy
- famtri retains the right to revise or adjust this data deletion policy at any given time.
- If changes occur, we will apprise users via the famtri app or other suitable methods.
